OUR STORY

Myla and Mike met at the fabled Baltimore Montessori school eight years ago. As co-workers, they exchanged numbers which led to texts about the shenanigans that happened throughout the school day. Their friendship grew steadily during the school year until they finally spent time together outside of work on a Saturday in May 2019.

Myla and Mike officially started dating on June 9th, 2019 and decided to move in together six months later in January 2020, after spending entirely too much time together.

The global pandemic hit three months after moving in together, so we remember this time in our impractical hobbies, decadant WFH lunch breaks, and a distaste for online learning. Ultimately, Mike and Myla were happy to have each other, and the pets, Izzy and Cat.

After isolation broke, Myla and Mike have spent the following five years expanding their world together, by exploring Myla's home in Wisconsin, and traveling abroad to Belize, Niagra Falls, Iceland, and Costa Rica. They moved outside of Baltimore City to the suburbs and adopted more additions to the family, Gus and Taz.

Mike proposed to Myla in September 2024!
And we are so excited to get married in 2026.

If you arrive alter than 6:15pm, you may be asked to wait until the ceremony is complete.
Is there a wedding dress code and theme?
Please come dressed in cocktail semi-formal wear. Consider autumn jewel tones for your attire, but most of all consider comfort!
